The Japanese GP was ultimately won by Sebastian Vettel, but does the German’s drive make him ‘driver of the day?’
Several drivers put in great performances. Vettel won from pole position and drove a clinical race. Mark Webber finished just 0.9s behind his team-mate and set the quickest lap of the race, a 1:33.474.
Fernando Alonso drove his own race, whilst Red Bull were untouchable, the Spaniard took a fantastic podium finish to remain in the title fight.
What about Lewis Hamilton? The Brit was catching Alonso before a gearbox issue left him with just a few gears.
Or is Kamui Kobayashi your driver of the day? The Japanese driver set the track alight as he made overtaking move after overtaking move, climbing from 14th to 7th.
