Bernie Ecclestone addressed the media today with his usual tongue-in-cheek humour after admitting that there are some problems with the Korean circuit.
Karun Chandhok drove around the newly-built track yesterday in a Red Bull Racing F1 car and admitted that the venue, due to host it’s inaugural race on 24th October, is not complete.
Ecclestone echoed Chandhok’s sentiments and told the media, “There are problems, the circuit is definitely ready, but as for all the buildings, perhaps not.
“So we may have to put up some tents.”
Once complete, Chandhok expects the circuit to impress drivers and fans alike and explains, “It’s a really interesting layout, [its] got a good mix of corners and I think we’ll see a lot of overtaking in the first sector.”
