Fernando Alonso once again topped the times in Monaco as he managed to get his F10 around the tight and twisty track in under 1 minute and 15 seconds, the only driver to do so.

He was closely followed by Nico Roberg’s Mercedes, just over one tenth slower.

Sebastian Vettel headed the second Ferrari of Felipe Massa, with Michael Schumacher rounding off the top five. The top 11 drivers were all within a second of Alonso’s quickest time.

Rain affected the end of the session, allowing Alonso’s 1:14.904 to stick.
