Lotus reserve and GP2 champion Jolyon Palmer will make his debut for the team at this week’s Barcelona pre-season test.

The Briton will drive the E23 on the second day of the four-day test, as well as taking part in several Friday practice sessions according to the Enstone outfit.

As a result, Pastor Maldonado will get two days of running, whilst Romain Grosjean will get just the one.

Williams third driver Susie Wolff has also been given testing duties. The Scottish racer will open the test for Williams before handing the car over to Valtteri Bottas.
