Ferrari has revealed that its 2015 car will be called the SF15-T, following on from the name of its previous car, the F14-T.
The ‘S’ stands for Scuderia and has been added to pay homage to the team, whilst the ‘F’ stands for Ferrari, followed by the year and finally the ‘T’ is in reference to the turbo engine.
Last year the name was chosen by fans in a public vote, but this year it was decided upon by Ferrari’s chiefs.
The SF15-T is due to be launched online on Friday before debuting on-track in Jerez when pre-season testing kicks off on Sunday.
Sebastian Vettel will be the first driver behind the wheel, before handing it over to Kimi Raikkonen on Monday.
