It’s always been one of the most special weekends in motorsport and this time around it was no different! The mammoth weekend of the Indianapolis 500 and the Monaco Grand Prix provided us all with grand entertainment and unpredictability.
Kevin Dejewski was on duty and trackside at IMS to bring you his report and some amazing images from the famed Indy 500, where for Sauber F1 driver Marcus Ericsson prevailed to take the biggest win of his racing career.
Across the water in Europe, the Monaco Grand Prix, the most historic race on the Formula 1 calendar, also saw a new winner etched into its books, as Sergio Perez took the glory – Philip Horton was there to see all the action while James Moy took your images.
In the world of two wheels, MotoGP travelled to Mugello for the latest round of the 2022 season, with Kyle Francis bringing you all of the action from the Italian circuit. Also competing in Monaco was the Formula 2 junior category, with the stars of tomorrow looking to impress on the world’s biggest stage, Fergal Walsh reports.
