Mark Webber starts the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from position after he beat team-mate Sebastian Vettel to the quickest lap under the floodlit Yas Marina circuit.

The Australian was the only man into the 1:39s, but it was a close battle between himself and Vettel with only a tenth between them.

Nico Rosberg starts third and looked good for pole as he topped both Q1 and Q2, but couldn’t keep pace with the Red Bulls in the final session. Team-mate Lewis Hamilton starts fourth after he span out during his final flying lap due to a broken wishbone.

Kimi Raikkonen qualified fifth, but starts last after he was disqualified. Therefore Nico Hulkenberg takes his spot, with Romain Grosjean sixth, Felipe Massa seventh and Sergio Perez eighth.
