Virtuosi Racing has completed its 2022 Formula 2 driver line-up by recruiting Jack Doohan and Marino Sato.
Doohan, son of motorcycle legend Mick, finished runner-up in Formula 3 this season and contested the final two rounds of the Formula 2 championship with MP Motorsport.
Sato has raced in Formula 2 since late 2019 and contested the last two seasons with Trident, scoring two points, and will now switch to Virtuosi.
Virtuosi fielded Formula 1-bound Guanyu Zhou and Felipe Drugovich in 2021.
“I’m very pleased and excited to join forces with Virtuosi Racing for our 2022 FIA Formula 2 campaign,” said Doohan.
“I’m looking forward to continuing the team’s success and getting to work with the team in post-season testing this coming week!”
Sato, who drove for AlphaTauri in last year’s Formula 1 young driver test, said: “It’s really a privilege to join a team that is fighting for the championship.
“I have to say a big thank you to everyone involved in making this happen, and to the team for trusting me. I’m really looking forward to the upcoming season.”
