Glickenhaus wraps up endurance test at Aragon

Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has succesfully completed the 30-hour endurance test for its 007 Le Mans Hypercar at Motorland Aragon in Spain.

The American squad carried out the test with the #708 007 with encouraging reliability, only suffering one notable mechanical issue during the extensive test.

This came when the car suffered electrical issues and had to return to the garage. The team then discovered that this was down to a broken power cable, which the team says failed as a result of vibrations.

After 8K KLM a cable broke from vibration. We mounted a new one. Secured it better and are back running. That's why we test and don't rebuild our test mule for a long time. pic.twitter.com/4y8jExw5xY

The rest of the test was completed without further issues. The #708 car has now effectively completed its extensive testing programme.

The team has now loaded the test car up for transport to the Nürburgring, where it will be taking a parade lap ahead of the Nürburgring 24 Hours, where the team is racing with its GT3-spec 004C.

The #709 chassis, which could be seen in the red-and-white racing livery, has meanwhile completed its shakedown at the Spanish track. It will be transported to Portimao, where it will take part in the second round of the FIA World Endurance Championship.
