United Autosports has set the quickest time in opening practice for the Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

Filipe Albuquerque was the driver to set the quickest time aboard the #22 ORECA 07-Gibson, posting a 02:04:083 to go quickest overall.

The Portuguese driver beat out the Hypercar runners, with Matthieu Vaxiviere second quickest in the #36 Alpine A480-Gibson as his early leading time of 02:04:335 was surpassed by the reigning WEC champion.

Third place went to Norman Nato in the Realteam Racing ORECA, posting a 02:04:471 shortly before coming to a halt at the Bus Stop Chicane.

Meanwhile, the two Toyota GR010 Hybrids failed to crack the top five in the first free practice session of the Hypercar era. Mike Conway posted a 02:04:574 in the #7 Toyota to go seventh overall, while a 02:04:947 from Brendon Hartley in the #8 car was only good enough for tenth.

The top ten was completed by JOTA, Dragonspeed and Racing Team Nederland fourth, fifth and sixth, while the Inter Europol Competition ORECA and the #26 G-Drive Aurus 01-Gibson.

In GTE Pro, Porsche led the way as Kevin Estre posted a 02:13:466 in the #92 Porsche 911 RSR-19, leading a one-two ahead of team-mate Richard Lietz in the #91 Porsche in second place.

The pair of AF Corse Ferraris ran third and fourth, while the #63 Corvette C8.R completed the class. It fell behind the top two runners in the GTE Am category, which was led by Matteo Cairoli.

The Italian continued his strong form from the Prologue by posting a 02:13:941 in the #56 Team Project 1 Porsche 911 RSR-19 as Porsche swept the top three.

The two Dempsey-Proton Porsches were second and third, ahead of Iron Lynx’s #60 Ferrari 488 GTE Evo. The #98 NorthWest AMR Aston Martin Vantage AMR completed the top five.
