G-Drive Racing alter Spa 6H line-up

G-Drive Racing has made a pair of late changes to the driver line-up for its two-car LMP2 effort in the upcoming Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

Aboard the #26 Aurus 01-Gibson, the changing Formula E schedule has lifted a date clash for ELMS regular Nyck de Vries, which allows the Dutchman to team up with Roman Rusinov and Franco Colapinto.

De Vries takes the place originally set for Roberto Merhi. Instead, the Russian outfit has opted to move Merhi to the sister car, the #25 Aurus.

There, the former Manor Formula One driver will complete the line-up alongside the previously confirmed pair of John Falb and Rui Andrade.

Team Project 1 complete line-up, reveal livery

German GTE Am squad Team Project 1 has also completed the line-up for its pair of Porsche 911 RSR-19, thereby filling the grid for the 2021 FIA World Endurance Championship opener.

Joining the previously confirmed Dennis Olsen and Anders Buchardt aboard the team’s #46 Porsche is Axcil Jefferies.

The Slough-born Zimbabwean racer most recently raced with GPX Racing in the Asian Le Mans Series, where he took a pair of class wins at Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Notably, the 27-year-old also won the Dubai 24 Hours with the same team alongside Julien Andlauer, Alain Ferté, Mathieu Jaminet and Frédéric Fatien. He will be making his WEC debut.

Team Project 1 has also revealed the livery for its #46 Porsche, sporting a familiar scheme to its #56 car while retaining its signature black and yellow colours.
