DTM has released the provisional entry list for its first season under new GT3 regulations, featuring 19 cars, 11 teams and 5 manufacturers.

The list features no major changes or surprises following previous announcements and the drivers featured at pre-season testing.

GT3 machinery from manufacturers Audi, BMW Ferrari, Mercedes-AMG and McLaren have been entered, with Mercedes supplying the most cars (seven) as opposed to a single McLaren for JP Motorsport.

The Polish squad, with ex-F1 driver Christian Klien entered as a driver, is listed as ‘non-permanent participant’. Jenson Team Rocket RJN and 2 Seas Motorsport, two teams that previously announced McLaren efforts for the series, have not been entered.

Reigning champion Rene Rast will also not take part, as he is prioritizing his Audi Formula E commitments. Runner-up Nico Müller has joined Team Rosberg instead, alongside American debutant Dev Gore.

The Audi contingent is completed by reigning teams champions Abt Sportsline, who enter three cars for Kelvin van der Linde, Mike Rockenfeller and Sophia Floersch.

In the Mercedes camp, Mercedes-AMG Team HRT has Maximilian Götz and Vincent Abril listed. Team Winward is also entering a pair of cars for Philip Ellis and Lucas Auer, while one-car entries for Mücke Motorsport, GetSpeed and GruppeM feature Gary Paffett, Arjun Maini and Daniel Juncadella respectively.

Rowe Racing and Walkenhorst Motorsport run the BMW M6 GT3, with Sheldon van der Linde and Timo Glock driving for the former, while Marco Wittmann joins the latter.

Liam Lawson will drive the only full-season permanent entry for Red Bull AF Corse. The team’s second car, entered under the AlphaTauri AF Corse banner, will see an alternating line-up as Nick Cassidy and Alex Albon share the seat throughout the season.

The DTM season gets underway at Monza on June 18-20.
