Jean-Eric Vergne once again topped the times for Red Bull in Abu Dhabi on the final day of the young driver test.
The Frenchman was quickest on each of the three days and managed his best time on Thursday, a time of 1:38.897, just over four tenths slower than Sebastian Vettel’s pole lap last weekend.
Sam Bird was second quickest for Mercedes, though two seconds slower than Vergne, whilst Jules Bianchi was a further half second back for Ferrari.
However, comparing times is difficult given the teams were testing Pirelli’s new for 2012 tyres with varying fuel loads.
