Jean-Eric Vergne remained the quickest driver in Abu Dhabi as day two of the young driver test came to an end.
The Frenchman didn’t have the best session after sensor problems in the morning curbed his running, before KERS issues took over in the afternoon.
His best lap, a 1:40.188 in the morning, although slower than his quickest on Tuesday, was good enough to see him beat Ferrari’s Jules Bianchi who finished second.
McLaren’s Gary Paffett caused a red flag after he stopped on the track with an oil leak, but later resumed running to post the third quickest time ahead of Valtteri Bottas.
