McLaren completed a clean sweep in all three practice sessions prior to qualifying for the Abu Dhabi GP after Lewis Hamilton claimed the top spot in the final session.

The McLaren driver was the only man to dip into the 1:38’s as he set a best time over four tenths faster than second placed Sebastian Vettel who finished just ahead of his teammate.

Jenson Button finished fourth quickest by just two thousandths to the Australian.

Nico Rosberg split the two Ferraris with Fernando Alonso the quicker of the two.

Once again the Force India duo of Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta finished strongly, securing P8 and P9 respectively.

The session was drama free, though Jarno Trulli only completed a single lap after his gearbox encountered problems. Rubens Barrichello also ended his session early following technical problems which also hit him on Friday.
