Vettel takes Italian pole by half a second

Sebastian Vettel took a dominant pole position for the Italian Grand Prix, the teams first, after easing to a half second advantage over Lewis Hamilton.

The two McLarens will start second and third with Ferrari favourite Fernando Alonso in fourth.

The second Red Bull of Mark Webber rounded off the top five ahead of Felipe Massa, Vitaly Petrov, Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg.

Bruno Senna yet again managed to get through to the final session of qualifying after knocking Paul di Resta into P11 by just 0.006 in Q2.
