Eurasia Motorsport has confirmed that Nobuya Yamanaka, Nick Foster and Roberto Merhi will drive for the team at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The trio will return to the wheel of the #35 Ligier JS P217-Gibson after also racing together at last weekend’s Total Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

The SPa race was very much a test outing for both team and drivers. Yamanaka had his first race in WEC, as well as a first time racing an LMP2 car in wet conditions. For Foster and Merhi, it was the first time teaming together.

“We achieved all we expected with this tough test in Spa; the crew got the opportunity to work in a competitive environment for the first time in a while,” said team principal Mark Goddard. “They also worked well under pressure, changing conditions and completed some running repairs. The drivers – especially Yamanaka – got the valuable experience that will be of great benefit when he lines up at Le Mans next month.”

Luzich Racing has also confirmed its driver squad for its GTE Am-entered Ferrari 488 GTE Evo.

The team, which gained an entry into the race by winning the GTE championship in the 2019 European Le Mans Series, will run under the American flag in an entry operated by AF Corse.

Driving duties for the #61 Ferrari will by carried out by Ozz Negri, Francesco Piovanetti and former McLaren factory driver Come Ledogar.

IMSA veteran Negri will be making his second Le Mans start after contesting the 2016 race in a Michael Shank Racing-entered LMP2 Ligier.

Ledogar will be making his third appearance in the French endurance classic and his second one in a Ferrari. In 2019, the Frenchman drove for Car Guy Racing, partnering Takeshi Kimura and Kei Cozzolino to a fifth place finish.
