The FIA has issued the Success Handicap bulletin fir the upcoming Total Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, which sees both Toyotas slowed by over three seconds per lap.

The championship-leading #7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid of Mike Conway, Jose Maria Lopez and Kamui Kobayashi will be slowed to the tune of 3.52s, while the sister #8 car of Brendon Hartley, Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima will be 0.44s faster per lap as a result of the five-point deficit between the two cars in the championship standings.

The figures for the Belgian round of the FIA World Endurance Championship are practically identical to the penalties that would have been handed out for the 1000 Miles of Sebring in March, had it not been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The only difference is that the penalties have been adjusted to reflect the longer track length at Spa.

Rebellion Racing and ByKolles, the two non-hybrid entries in the LMP1 field, share the same 1.58s penalty.

The #1 Rebellion R13-Gibson is the lowest car in the standings considering the withdrawal of both Team LNT Ginettas, and ByKolles’ #4 ENSO CLM P1/01-Gibson has seen its penalty matched with the #1 Rebellion R13 Gibson.

Both non-hybrid cars will run to a minimum weight of 877 kilograms. The Toyotas will run at 932 kilograms, which they have ran with for most of the season.
