Six Formula 1 drivers have been confirmed for this weekend’s virtual Chinese Grand Prix.
Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc will return as he attempts to take back-to-back victories, fresh from his Vietnam win (which was held at Melbourne’s Albert Park).
Alongside Leclerc is McLaren’s Lando Norris – who has yet to enjoy a trouble free weekend owing to connection issues, which last time out saw him delete the Codemasters F1 2019 game from his PC, putting a question mark over his future participation – Red Bull’s Alex Albon, Alfa Romeo’s Antonio Giovinazzi and Williams’ duo George Russell and Nicholas Latifi.
The race takes place on Sunday at 18:00 BST (two hours earlier than previous races) from China’s Shanghai International Circuit.
Real Madrid and Belgium international goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will make his Virtual Grand Prix debut for Red Bull, with a host of other exciting names set to be announced over the coming days.
The broadcast will be available on the official Formula 1 YouTube, Twitch, Weibo and Facebook channels as well as international broadcast partners including Sky Sports F1 and Sky Sports Main Event in the UK.
