Corvette Racing has confirmed that Jan Magnussen and Mike Rockenfeller will be driving the #63 Corvette C8.R for the Sebring and COTA rounds of the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The pairing had already appeared on the entry list for the upcoming Lone Star Le Mans round at Circuit of the Americas, but the team has now confirmed on Twitter that both drivers will also be behind the wheel at the 1000 Miles of Sebring in March.

The duo join the regular field of six cars, with two Aston Martins, two Ferraris and two Porsches. The AMR duo of Nicki Thiim and Marco Sorensen currently leads the points standings for drivers, while Aston Martin also leads the manufacturer standings.

Magnussen and Rockenfeller also competed in the 1000 Miles of Sebring last year, joined by Antonio Garcia. The Spaniard is not expected to join this year as Corvette is not expected to enter a third driver.

This means none of Corvette’s six IMSA drivers will be pulling double duty for the Super Sebring weekend. Garcia, Jordan Taylor and Nicky Catsburg drive the #3 C8.R in the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, while driving duties for the #4 are taken up by Oliver Gavin, Tommy Milner and Marcel Fässler.
