Ferrari covers most miles, McLaren the least

Ferrari showed they have a reliable car for the 2011 season by covering the most laps during pre-season testing. A massive 6,985km (4,340m) was covered by the Ferrari 150º Italia over the four test sessions.

The Italian outfit was closely followed by Red Bull’s RB7 which was 856km short of Ferrari’s tally.

HRT managed to complete zero kilometres in their 2011 car after key parts weren’t released by Spanish customs, therefore coming last, though they managed 1,949km in the F110.

Disregarding HRT, McLaren came bottom of the 2011 table. The Woking-based squads decision to use their 2010 chassis for the first test skewed the results slightly, although the inclusion of the MP4-25’s mileage moved the team above Virgin and Team Lotus into ninth.
