Michael Schumacher put the Mercedes at the top of the leaderboard on day four of the final pre-season test in Barcelona with his team-mate, Nico Rosberg, third quickest.
Fernando Alonso split the two Mercedes drivers with a lap +0.365 slower than the seven-time world champion.
Nick Heidfeld and Rubens Barrichello rounded off the top five quickest cars.
Sebastian Vettel caused a red flag when his RB7 stopped at the end of the pit lane. The current champion had a quiet day completing just 64 laps.
The majority of times today came during qualifying runs with low fuel. Though a small handful of drivers such as Jenson Button completed high fuel runs without attempting a low fuel qualifying lap.
Hispania also debuted their car today, the F111, however a lack of spares meant they couldn’t run a single lap.
Just one days testing remains, with only Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren, Williams and Hispania in attendance.
