Red Bull has revealed the composition of its seven-strong driver line-up for its 2020 Junior Team, with one new addition to the scheme.

Red Bull was one of the first organisations to form a young driver programme and brought the likes of Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen through to Formula 1.

Red Bull confirmed on Tuesday that 14-year-old American Jak Crawford, set for a dual campaign in Italian and German Formula 4, is the sole new addition.

He joins Yuki Tsunoda (also part of Honda’s Formula Dream Project), Juri Vips, Liam Lawson, Dennis Hauger, Jack Doohan and Jonny Edgar.

Red Bull also revealed that Lawson and Hauger will race for Hitech in this year’s Formula 3 championship.

Lawson competed for MP Motorsport in last year’s Formula 3 championship, taking two podiums, while Hauger claimed the Italian F4 title and finished runner-up in the German counterpart.

Lawson also currently heads the Toyota Racing Series standings as he bids to win back-to-back titles in his native New Zealand.

Tsunoda has already been confirmed for a season in Formula 2 with Carlin while Vips will race in Super Formula for Mugen.

It was confirmed earlier in the month that Doohan, son of MotoGP legend Mick, will race in Formula 3 with HWA Racelab.

Edgar will compete alongside Crawford at Van Amersfoort Racing in Formula 4.
