While it remains too early to declare victory in endurance racing, the #37 BMW M1000RR is putting itself in a commanding position.
At the 19-hour mark, the Belgian entry leads the field with a comfortable two-lap buffer over the #12 Yoshimura SERT Motul Suzuki.
Trailing the 2025 race winners by less than a minute, F.C.C. TSR Honda France #5 holds third place in a tense podium battle.
For reigning world champions YART Yamaha #1, the title defence is slipping out of reach.
Currently running in fourth, the #1 crew lacks the pace to challenge for the podium, let alone the second-place finish required to defend their crown.
As the standings sit, BMW would seal the World Championship by eight points, provided the #37 machine avoids any late mechanical drama or rider errors before the chequered flag.
Behind the leading quartet, positions among the top EWC contenders have largely stabilised.
The #99 Elf Marc VDS Racing Team / KM99 Yamaha continues to hold fifth position ahead of the #11 Kawasaki Webike Trickstar in sixth and the #6 ERC Endurance BMW in seventh.
Meanwhile, Wójcik Racing Team’s #77 Honda leads the Superstock category from eighth overall.
While conditions on track were relatively calm on Sunday morning, endurance racing continues to take its toll.
The 2026 Bol d’Or claimed three more entries between the 16-hour and 19-hour marks, with the #85, #63, and #113 bikes all forced into retirement.
