The 2026 FIM Endurance World Championship season reaches its grand finale this weekend with the Bol d’Or at Circuit Paul Ricard with the fourth and final round of the campaign.

Running from September 17 to 20 in the south of France, the iconic 89th edition of the Bol d’Or sees 56 teams assemble at Le Castellet for a gruelling 24-hour title decider.

The 2026 calendar kicked off with the legendary 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans, followed by 8-hour marathons at Spa-Francorchamps and Suzuka.

Now, the season comes full circle at Paul Ricard. Lights out is set for 3:00 PM local time (2:00 PM BST) on Saturday, with riders pushing to the limit until 3:00 PM on Sunday, or until conditions take their toll.

With 65 points still available across the weekend, six teams remain mathematically in contention for the world crown.

The qualifying sessions offer up to 5 bonus points, scaled from 5 to 1 for the top five entries, while intermediate points are awarded at the 8-hour and 16-hour marks offering up to 10 points each, before the final points haul at the chequered flag.

#37 BMW and #12 Suzuki chasing #1 Yamaha for the crown

Heading into the finale, defending champions YART Yamaha #1 lead the standings following a remarkably consistent campaign anchored by their opening-round victory at Le Mans with Karel Hanika, Marvin Fritz, and Leandro Mercado.

Holding 112 points, YART maintains a 19-point cushion over the #37 BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team of Markus Reiterberger, Steven Odendaal, and Michael Van Der Mark.

After agonisingly losing the title just 27 minutes from the finish line last year due to a mechanical failure, the Belgian squad arrives at Le Castellet hungry for redemption.

Just behind them, the #12 Yoshimura SERT Motul Suzuki entry looms dangerously in third with Gregg Black, Étienne Masson, and Dan Linfoot.

Having won the Bol d’Or three times in the last four years, Damien Saulnier’s squad knows how to conquer Paul Ricard. After missing out on the championship by a single point last season, SERT will leave everything on the track to reclaim the crown.

By contrast, F.C.C. TSR Honda France arrives at the finale following a deeply frustrating campaign. After a crash-induced DNF at Le Mans, an engine failure at Spa, and running out of fuel at Suzuka, the team sits a distant 14th in the standings and out of title contention.

Nevertheless, Corentin Perolari, Alan Techer, and John McPhee will look to salvage their season and end 2026 on a high note.
