Sebastien Ogier and stand-in co-driver Julien Ingrassia had a high-speed crash on the penultimate stage of the day.
The live feed was immediately cut and the stage was red-flagged.
A post from Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT’s X account a short while ago said: “Car #1 has gone off the road in SS17. Seb and Julien are both out of the car. Further updates will be provided when available.”
A further update from TGR-WRT said:
“Both driver and co-driver were able to get out of the car unassisted. They are both conscious and generally OK, and will be transported to hospital for further checks. The team will provide further updates in due course.”
