Gresini Ducati rider Alex Marquez dominated to top the timesheets in the final MotoGP practice session at the Sachsenring.
The Spaniard lapped a 1.20.333s around the twisty German track, lapping over 0.3s quicker than nearest rival Raul Fernandez.
Championship contender Marco Bezzecchi put his Aprilia in third, lapping higher than KTM rider Pedro Acosta and Marc Marquez.
Francesco Bagnaia claimed sixth spot and lapped half a second down from the younger Marquez brother, closely followed by Ai Ogura.
Jorge Martin was ninth quickest, but more surprisingly, he was sandwiched between two Yamaha riders Fabio Quartararo and Toprak Razgatlioglu.
Luca Marini secured 11th to finish as the top Honda rider, followed by KTM’s Brad Binder and team-mate Mir in 13th.
Fabio Di Giannantonio finished in a surprise 14th for VR46, ahead of Alex Rins, Enea Bastianini and Diogo Moreira.
Franco Morbidelli lapped 18th quickest, while Jack Miller, Cal Crutchlow and Maverick Vinales closed out proceedings.
