Caca Bueno took a fourth pole position in Berlin for the eighth round of the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY, fronting a 1-2 result for Jaguar Brazil Racing.

Bueno set the pace from the outset of the 30-minute qualifying session, heading the field of 12 after setting a 1m 27.027s lap before later improving by 0.355s in the dying stages of the session to claim pole position.

Team-mate Sergio Jimenez was Bueno's nearest challenger, the Brazilian trailing the five-time Stock Car Brasil champion by 0.166s while Simon Evans was third for Team Asia New Zealand, an additional 0.170s off the pace.

Bryan Sellers emerged as the fastest Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing driver by qualifying in fourth while team-mate Katherine Legge experienced a difficult session, qualifying in ninth place, 0.852s off the pace.

Adam Carroll, who replaces Stefan Rzadzinski at TWR Techeetah in Berlin, completed the top five while Yaqi Zhang was sixth for Team China Racing, securing pole position in Pro-Am.

Pro-Am championship leader Bandar Alesayi followed the Chinese racer in seventh as the Saudi Racing driver aims to clinch the title this weekend, needing to outscore Zhang by eight points to achieve this goal.

Celia Martin impressed in qualifying by taking third in Pro-Am and eighth overall although limited running in the session meant that the French racer was largely in the pit lane over the course of the 30-minute session, minimising her chances of pushing for a higher starting position.

While Legge settled into ninth, Ziyi Zhang completed the top 10 and was followed by Ahmed Bin-Khanen and Jaguar VIP driver Jens Dralle who takes over the cockpit of the #1 car this weekend.
