Juncos Hollinger Racing has announced that it has signed Rinus VeeKay for the 2026 IndyCar season.

The Dutch driver spent the past year with Dale Coyne Racing, but announced he was moving on from the team in early September.

Since then, his available options have grown shorter as other drivers have been confirmed to various seats.

VeeKay’s confirmation that he will join JHR as the team’s lead driver ensures he will remain in the IndyCar grid next year.

“I’m incredibly excited to join Juncos Hollinger Racing for the 2026 season,” said VeeKay.

“After winning 13 races and a championship together in the Road to Indy we have reunited again, this time in IndyCar. Big thanks to Brad [Hollinger] and Ricardo [Juncos] for making this become reality.”

VeeKay will be participating in his seventh IndyCar season next year, moving back to Chevrolet power after a single year being powered by Honda.

Now 25 years old, VeeKay has earned a single victory in the series. His triumph in the 2021 event at the IMS road course has not yet been repeated, though he has logged a trio of podiums since then.

His hope is to add to those tallies at JHR as he reunites with the team that helped him advance through the Road to Indy ranks in 2018 and 2019.

“At Juncos Hollinger Racing, we’re fully focused on building a program capable of sustained high performance in the years ahead,” said Dave O’Neill, JHR team principal.

“Reuniting with Rinus feels like a natural continuation of the success we’ve shared in the past. He brings the ideal combination of speed, consistency, race craft and experience that we’re looking for.”

Notably, the JHR announcement made no mention of Sting Ray Robb, who is thought to still have a contract for 2026 and would be VeeKay’s team-mate.
