Andretti Formula E team has announced that Nico Mueller will leave the team after one season with the American squad.
The Swiss driver joined the Porsche customer team ahead of Season 11, amid signing a deal as a factory driver for the German marque.
Mueller, like so many of his predecessors, was unable to match the results of British team-mate Jake Dennis, finishing 15th in the Drivers’ standings with 48 points.
The highly-rated Mueller’s best result across the season was fourth place, achieved at both Miami and Jakarta.
Mueller’s exit and existing Porsche contract will likely trigger speculation that he will move to the works team for Season 12, with Antonio Felix da Costa having left last week.
The 33-year-old has previously tested for the Stuttgart squad early in 2024, amid a rumoured move to replace da Costa, which never came to fruition.
This season we’ve shared highs, lows and everything in between.

Thank you, Nico, for being part of our Andretti story ❤️ pic.twitter.com/lo7Vkgl4xy
In a social media post, Mueller said: “It’s time to officially say goodbye and THANK YOU to everyone at Andretti.
“A few challenges thrown at us during our season, but we never gave up & made memories/lessons for life. Feeling grateful for the time together.
“All the best and see you on track!”
Mueller, 33, made his debut in FE back in Season 7, initially with the GEOX Dragon squad, taking his one and only podium to date a season later, in Valencia.
His stock rose in Season 10, when he scored 52 points in the uncompetitive ABT CUPRA package, including top-10 finishes in the final four rounds.
An announcement from Andretti is expected in due course.
