Mark Webber took the pace setting baton from Lewis Hamilton in second practice for the Korean GP.

The Red Bull driver set a 1:37.942 to secure the top spot ahead of Fernando Alonso by almost two tenths.

It was a fairly uneventful session as the drivers continued to learn the circuit layout and grip levels.

Sakon Yamamoto became a casualty of turn 16 as he took too much kerb and span into the concrete wall. The contact caused just minor damage to his front-wing but resulted in the session being red flagged after 28 minutes.

The Korean marshalls recovered the car quickly, allowing the session to re-start with just five minutes lost.

The second incident involved Mark Webber as he span at turn 12, losing the rear of his RB6. The current championship leader recovered to the track without further problems and went on to set his quickest lap on his next attempt.

Bruno Senna only managed to set a single lap-time thanks to his earlier FP1 accident.
