Ferrari has confirmed that it will not enter an additional GTE Pro car in June's 24 Hours of Le Mans, which forms the finale of the FIA World Endurance Championship's 2018/19 'Super Season' calendar.
Instead, the Italian manufacturer will run its two regular AF Corse entries, rather than the three cars it ran last year.
Ferrari GT Racing boss Antonello Coletta explained the decision was mostly for sponsorship reasons: "There will not be a third official car like last year. The reason is simple: last year we had a good opportunity with a sponsor and this year we don't," he told Autosport.
The two-car AF Corse line-up consists of Daniel Serra, James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi in the #51 and Miguel Molina, Sam Bird and Davide Rigon in the #71.
The WEC Super Season resumes on March 15th with the 1000 Miles of Sebring.
