Sebastián Fernández is to race for Campos in the new-for-2019 FIA Formula 3 championship.
Formula 3 has replaced the GP3 Series on Formula 1’s support bill for 2019 and is set to feature a 30-strong grid, with 10 teams fielding three drivers each.
The Spaniard raced in European Formula 3 this year and placed 21st in the championship.
He is Campos’ first signing for the 2019 campaign.
“I’m happy to join the Campos Racing family to make my debut in the new FIA Formula 3 championship,” he said.
“We need to keep working in order to fulfil our agenda and the goals that we have set for ourselves.
“It’s important to continue our learning process towards Formula 1.”
Fernández is the sixth driver confirmed for 2019.
ART Grand Prix will field David Beckmann, Red Bull juniors Juri Vips and Yuki Tsunoda will race for Hitech and Jenzer respectively, while Prema has signed Marcus Armstrong and Jehan Daruvala.
The season will begin alongside next May's Spanish Grand Prix.
