Dragon has confirmed that Ferrari junior Antonio Fuoco will act as the team's official test and reserve driver for the coming Formula E campaign.
Fuoco, 22, currently competes in Formula 2 for Charouz Racing System and occupies seventh in the Drivers' Championship with 120 points, securing victory on the streets of Monaco as well as four further podiums.
Getting his first taste of Formula E machinery earlier this year driving Dragon's Penske EV-3 Gen2 car, Fuoco shared driving duties with fellow F2 racer Maximilian Gunther in pre-season testing at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia.
Gunther has since been confirmed as a race driver for 2018/19, linking up with incumbent Jose Maria Lopez.
“I want to drive in the Formula E Championship because the level of the drivers and teams are among the highest in all of motorsport,” said Fuoco.
“Racing on the streets in the center of some of the most interesting cities in the world is also a very exciting challenge for me.
“I think the All-New Season 5 Formula E format is very intriguing, and the Gen2 Penske EV-3 not only looks cool but is very challenging to drive. I enjoy this challenge; it is a lot of fun.
"I hope GEOX Dragon can finish with great results this season, and I will do the maximum to help the team succeed!”
