Championship leader Rafael Camara converted his pole position to a second Formula 3 victory in Bahrain, holding off Callum Voisin who settled for second.
Rodin Motorsport driver Voisin briefly led the race but he fell short of the Ferrari Academy Driver who claimed the feature win.
Tim Tramnitz rounded off the podium positions after climbing from 13th place with aggressive and bold moves across the Bahrain International Circuit.
Voisin got off to a great start, launching his car down the inside of the polesitter Camara to overtake him by the third corner.
Voisin quickly pulled away from the rest of the field while Camara followed behind, although the Trident driver began to pick up the pace.
Chaos unfolded behind on the first sector of Lap 2 between three drivers as James Wharton, Ivan Domingues, and Matias Zagazeta all attempted to squeeze into Turn 1.
The trio safely rejoined the race at the back of the pack but Zagazeta fled to the pits to recover from some damage.
At the front of the pack, Camara and Voisin battled it out for the lead as Camara looked for a way around the Rodin.
Camara attempted a move down the inside of Voisin around Turn 7 on Lap 3 and briefly took the lead, but Voisin pulled one back a few corners later.
Charlie Wurz sat closely behind the duo fighting for victory, just 0.7s behind and setting the fastest lap of the race on Lap 4.
Freddie Slater retired from the Feature Race on Lap 3 after suffering from a technical problem, while his AIX teammates all ran far under the points.
The Ferrari Academy driver Camara snatched back the lead from Voisin at Turn 7 on Lap 5, defending hard from Voisin’s attempt to switch back.
Camara held onto the lead and pulled 0.8s away from Voisin, who fell under pressure from Wurz looking to jump the Rodin driver for second place.
Wurz, however, was forced into defending his third-place position from Tuuka Taponen, who frantically searched for a way around the Trident.
Taponen pulled off an impressive move on the opening of Lap 7, tailing Wurz through the final sector and onto the starting straight.
The ART driver climbed into third place and set his sights on Voisin who was running 0.9s behind Camara on Lap 7.
In the midfield, Formula 3 returning drivers Mari Boya and Martinius Stenshorne fought to climb up into the points-scoring positions.
Their rookie counterparts seemed to be doing incredibly well in Bahrain, with newcomers Camara and Taponen occupying two of the top three spots.
At the front of the pack, Voisin lost the DRS to Camara as the polesitter pulled 1.5s away from the Rodin by Lap 10.
Boya managed to jump up to P11, pulling off a DRS-assisted move on Brando Badoer in a hunt to recover from his 20th-place start.
Tramnitz set his sights on fifth place by trying to get by Noah Stromsted, but the rookie defended hard around the outside of Turn 10.
Tramnitz finally pulled off the move on Lap 12 and climbed up to fifth place, putting Stromsted under pressure from yesterday’s Sprint winner Nikola Tsolov.
Tsolov overtook the Mercedes Junior Driver for sixth place around Turn 4 on Lap 13 and looked to his fellow Red Bull Junior driver ahead.
Camara was still leading the race by 3.5s on Lap 14 as the battle for the rest of the podium positions unfolded behind.
Both Tramnitz and Tsolov began to make up pace to the frontrunners and ran down Wurz, who sat in fourth place on Lap 14.
Wurz fell away from the DRS zone of Taponen, who was running in third place by Lap 16, putting the young British driver in the sights of the Red Bull duo.
Tramnitz tailed just 0.3s behind Wurz and attempted a move around the inside of Turn 1 on Lap 17, but Wurz held onto the position.
The Red Bull junior continued his advances on Wurz through to Turn 4, where he finally pulled off the move to claim P4.
His hunt for a podium position was concluded with an attack on Taponen on Lap 19, where Tramnitz secured the third-place spot on the podium.
Camara cruised to his second victory in Formula 3, leading the pack by 5.7s by the end of the race in a dominant performance in his rookie season.
Voisin settled for second place after managing to hold off the mighty Red Bull junior drivers, while Tramnitz rounded off the podium in third place.
Taponen picked up a fourth-place finish after defending hard from Tsolov, who secured a fifth-place finish after a climb up the field.
Stromsted finished in sixth place ahead of Giusti, but it was Boya who claimed an eighth-place finish after starting in 20th.
Boya’s birthday success finished ahead of fellow Spaniard Bruno Del Pino and Christian Ho, who rounded off the points-scoring positions.
