Callum Ilott and Anthoine Hubert have been disqualified from the sprint race results after their GP3/16's failed scrutineering checks due to not meeting the minimum tyre pressures set by Pirelli.

The left rear tyres on both ART cars failed to meet the prescribed limits specified by the official tyre supplier and were therefore excluded from the official results.

The punishment means it has had a drastic effect on the classification of the race as Ferrari-backed Ilott took the final spot on the podium with team-mate and title rival Hubert in fourth-place behind the British driver before the penalties were handed out.

This means every driver now moves up two positions with Nikita Mazepin now classified third and the Campos' pair of Leonardo Pulcini and Simo Laaksonen move into points paying positions.

With the disqualification of llott and Hubert, the drivers’ standings have now also changed. Hubert continues to lead the standings with 176 points, while Mazepin now stands on 147 points – moving above Ilott on countback having won more races.

The other penalty handed out by the stewards was to MP Motorsport's Devlin Defrancesco, the stewards deemed him to be the instigator which caused the collision of Jezner's Juan Manual Correa and Arden's Gabriel Aubry on the Serraglio straight which brought out the safety car on the opening lap of the race.

The Canadian-Italian driver was handed a 20-second time penalty for his transgressions.
