According to multiple reports, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) sent agents to the Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing headquarters on Wednesday.

Several accounts wrote that at 08:30 Wednesday morning, FBI investigators arrived at the Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing base in Zionsville, Indiana.

The reason for the visit is unknown, but staff were asked to step away from computers and systems to let investigations continue.

“We are cooperating fully with investigators,” a Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing statement read.

“Given that this is an ongoing investigation, we are limited in what information we can share right now, but we intend to provide additional information as soon as we can.”

FBI assistance provided in Rahal investigation

Zionsville Mayor John Stehr said via the Indy Star, “the FBI asked us to assist this morning as they served a warrant at the [Rahal Letterman Lanigan] headquarters building.

“Our officers stayed outside as the FBI agents entered the building.”

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing runs its IndyCar and IMSA operations out of its Zionsville site.

What Rahal operate out of Indiana base

The Indiana-based team ran three full-time efforts in IndyCar in 2024 with Christian Lundgaard, Graham Rahal and Pietro Fittipaldi.

Juri Vips and Takuma Sato made one-off appearances in a fourth car.

The team’s lineup for the 2025 season is unknown with Lundgaard departing to Arrow McLaren.

In IMSA, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing is responsible for running BMW’s prototype effort, fielding two M Hybrid V8 cars in the GTP class.
