Aprilia maintained its strong showing from Friday heading into the final MotoGP practice session with Trackhouse rider Miguel Oliveira finishing top of the charts at the Sachsenring.

He mustered a lap time of 1.20.353s which put him 0.367s ahead of his nearest competitor in the form of championship leader Jorge Martin.

Despite a late off by Maverick Vinales in the tricky Turn 1, he maintained steady form to finish in third aboard the factory Aprilia.

Francesco Bagnaia put his Ducati GP24 in fourth place, with Gresini’s Marc Marquez only able to set two lap times following the injuries he sustained from his Turn 11 high-side on Friday. His session finished in fifth.

Trackhouse completed its strong showing in final practice with Raul Fernandez finishing in sixth, ahead of the Ducati rider trio of Enea Bastianini, Franco Morbidelli and Alex Marquez, as all four riders were separated by only a tenth of a second.

Pedro Acosta finished as lead KTM rider once more aboard his Tech3 GasGas branded machine in 10th, ahead of Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo.

Luca Marini’s session saw an impressive improvement from his struggling Honda, putting him in 12th.

Jack Miller and Fabio Di Giannantonio took 13th and 14th place, ahead of GasGas rider Augusto Fernandez.

Brad Binder struggled in the final practice session as he finished 16th, with the LCR Honda duo of Taakaki Nakagami and Johann Zarco close behind.

VR46 Ducati rider Marco Bezzecchi struggled, only finishing 19th, with Repsol Honda’s Joan Mir edging, HRC test rider Stefan Bradl and Yamaha stand-in Remy Gardener completing the classification.
