Daniel Abt topped the timesheets in a foggy second practice in Morocco ahead of the Marrakesh ePrix for Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler.
Abt set a best lap time of a 1:19.760 using 200kW of power, just over half a second faster than Lucas di Grassi's pacesetting time in the first practice session of the weekend one hour earlier.
Di Grassi was Abt's nearest challenger in the second session, 0.138 seconds adrift in the second Audi while Sebastien Buemi was third fastest for Renault e.dams, 0.176 seconds down.
Mitch Evans continued where he left off in FP1 and set the fourth fastest time in practice two, heading up a Jaguar 4-5 in the session with Nelson Piquet Jr finishing in fifth despite making contact with the wall on his fastest lap.
Alex Lynn was the lead DS Virgin Racing driver in sixth place after championship leader Sam Bird struggled for pace in the session, finishing outside the top ten in 12th fastest.
Jose Maria Lopez impressed on his return to Formula E, setting the seventh fastest time for Dragon Racing. The Argentinian driver was closely followed by Mahindra Racing's Felix Rosenqvist who was only 0.007 seconds adrift in eighth.
The Techeetah pair of Jean-Eric Vergne and Andre Lotterer rounded out the top ten in the session in ninth and tenth.
