Dragon Racing has confirmed that Maximilian Gunther and Andrea Caldarelli will represent the team for Formula E's upcoming rookie test in Marrakesh next month.
Gunther most recently competed in the European Formula 3 series for Prema Racing, where five wins throughout the season allowed him to secure third place in the Drivers' Championship behind Britain's Lando Norris and Swedish racer, Joel Eriksson.
The test, in which he will take over the wheel of Neel Jani's car, will mark his first time behind one of the all-electric single seater machines after testing Formula 2 and Super Formula machinery over the course of the winter.
Caldarelli will join Germany's Gunther in testing for the team and will be behind the wheel of Jerome d'Ambrosio's #7 machine, marking the first time he will have driven a single seater since 2015 after racing in Super Formula.
Since 2011, Caldarelli has driven in the Japanese Super GT series, finishing second in the championship on two occasions while finishing third in the 2017 standings.
Formula E's rookie test will be held following the Marrakesh ePrix on January 14 and is reserved for drivers who have no experience of racing in the series.
