The Automobile Club d’Ouest has announced the provisional entry list for the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans, which will see 23 Hypercars and a total of 62 cars take the start of the 91st edition of the race.

The 19 Hypercars competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship, of which Le Mans is a part, are all present and accounted for. Alongside them will see four extra cars, two extra from Cadillac — one from Action Express and one from Chip Ganassi — making it three Cadillacs at Le Mans.

There’ll also be an extra factory-run Porsche, plus an extra Lamborghini joining the WEC entry. In all cars, for the three manufacturers, these cars normally compete in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship.

The Porsche currently has Mathieu Jaminet listed as the driver, while the Lamorghini has the regular IMSA drivers — Romain Grosjean, Andrea Caldarelli, and Matteo Cairoli.

The Cadillacs, meanwhile, have Sebastien Bourdais, Renger van der Zande and Scott Dixon in the #03 Chip Ganassi entry, and Pipo Derani and Jack Aitken in the #311 Action Express car.

Additionally, Chip Ganassi has confirmed IndyCar champion Alex Palou will join the WEC regular entry, alongside Earl Bamber and Alex Lynn.

In LMP2, there’ll be 16 entries all Oreca 07-Gibsons, compromised of cars from IMSA, the Asian Le Mans Series, and the European Le Mans Series. United Autosports, Algarve Pro Racing and COOL Racing will have two cars apiece, while Proton Competition, Vector Sport, AO by TF, Nielsen Racing, IDEC Sport, Duqueine, DKR Engineering, Inter Europol, Panis Racing and AF Corse will each have 1 entry. Of the 16 entries, 6 will race in the pro/am subclass.

Finally, LMGT3 will see 23 entry, 5 more than the WEC regular entry list. Joining are three Ferraris, from GR Racing, Spirit of Race and JMW Motorsport, an extra Ford Mustang from Proton Competition, and, from IMSA, a McLaren 720S GT3 Evo from Inception Racing.

Finally, the reserve list features seven entries. Proton Competition have applied to enter a second Porsche 963 Hypercar, while Inter Europol have listed a second Oreca in LMP2. Also on the reserve list in LMP2 is Richard Mille by TDS and Staysail Motorsport. In LMGT3, Kessel Racing and Formula Racing have two Ferraris, while Racing Spirit of Leman have listed an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3.

The 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans will take place on 15-16 June.
