Le Mans winner Timo Bernhard will take his own factory-backed GT3 team to the Spa 24 Hours next month.

Bernhard, who won the French endurance classic with Porsche team-mates Earl Bamber and Brendon Hartley two weeks ago, is set to run a 911 GT3-R with the help of team manager and former American Le Mans Series champion Klaus Graf.

The entry features heavy backing from the Porsche factory side, with works drivers Laurens Vanthoor, Michael Christensen and Kevin Estre confirmed for the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup blue-riband event.

Vanthoor won the race in 2014 with Audi, whilst Christensen and Estre compete together in the WEC.

Bernhard's Team 75 squad is a regular in the German ADAC GT Masters, Porsche Carrera Cup and Nürburgring-based VLN series.

“The 24 Hours of Spa will be the first 24-hour race for our fledgling team," said Bernhard.

"I’m very proud of our squad’s performance and development to now. Joining the long-distance scene was always one of our goals, and amongst endurance classics, Spa is one of the ultimate highlights."

"Our aim is to learn as much as possible and do a good job. I’ll be at the racetrack for the entire time. We’ll divide up the jobs amongst the team management. It’ll be something new for me to watch a 24-hour race from the command post.”

Porsche will also field two factory-run entries for Herberth Motorsport in the Pro-Am category.

Heading the six-driver roster is 2016 World Endurance Champion Marc Lieb, who joins an all-German lineup with Robert Renauer and Jürgen Häring.

The other car will be shared by Daniel Allemann, Ralf Bohn and Porsche junio Mathieu Jaminet.

The Spa 24 Hours takes place on July 29-30th.
