Toyota remained quickest in second practice for the WEC 6 Hours of Spa, with the #7 car driven by Kamui Kobayashi posting a best time of 1:56.369 – 1.5s better than it managed in FP1.

That put Toyota ahead of the #2 Porsche in second place by just over half a second as Timo Bernhard posted a best time of 1:56.874 during the opening half hour, which he failed to improve on later in the session.

Kobayashi's time came after a red flag stoppage caused by Kevin Estre going off track at Les Combes in the #92 Porsche 911 RSR. That caused a 10 minute delay.

The #1 Porsche driven by Andre Lotterer was third quickest ahead of the second Toyota crew, 1.5s down on their sister car.

Privateer entry ByKolles piloted by Oliver Webb was tenth, eight second down on the pace of the other LMP1 cars.

The GTE-Pro category was led by the #95 Aston Martin, with a late flyer from Marco Sorensen putting him ahead of Estre's Porsche before his off.

Ferrari led the times in GTE-Am with Miguel Molina setting a time of 2:17.806 in the #54 Spirit of Race entry.
