Red Bull will use their own F-duct system in the European GP in an attempt to regain the lead ahead of McLaren.
The Milton Keynes based team first debuted the system, which was pioneered by McLaren, at the Turkish GP. However the system was only used in practice as it wasn’t having the desired effect.
The rear-wing stalling device hasn’t been seen on the RB6 since.
With the European GP, held in Valencia, suiting the McLaren MP4-25, thanks to its long straights and slow corners, the Red Bull team have no choice but to use the system to ensure they can match the Woking based outfits speed advantage on the straights and regain their dominant form.
