The DS Virgin Racing team has officially revealed the livery its cars will race with in the 2016/2017 Formula E season.
Unveiled in a video filmed on the streets of Manchester’s Media City, Virgin Racing’s cars will be driven by Sam Bird and José María López in season three.
The livery carries over the chrome, purple and black livery with red accents from season two, but features an updated design to compliment the aero upgrades on the 2016/2017 car.
The team’s two drivers will be looking to add to the three victories from the first two Formula E seasons, all of them scored by Bird.
The 2016/2017 season begins in Hong Kong on the 9 October, the first of 12 race weekends and 14 races.
