Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen ended third and final practice for the Belgian Grand Prix quickest on Saturday morning ahead of Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo.

Two-tenths of a second split the pair at the top, with Raikkonen using the supersoft tyre to set his fastest lap, a 1m47.974.

Ricciardo split the two Ferraris with Sebastian Vettel three-tenths shy of his team-mate to finish ahead of Williams' Valtteri Bottas and the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton.

Hamilton spent much of the session circling slowly until the final minutes of the session in which his best time was good enough for fifth.

Title rival and team-mate Nico Rosberg was seventh as Nico Hulkenberg muscled his way into sixth for Force India.

Felipe Massa, Sergio Perez and Romain Grosjean completed the top 10.

There were problems for the second Red Bull of Max Verstappen as the Dutchman failed to set a timed lap during the hour-long session. He spent much of it in his garage.

In terms of incidents, the session was fairly muted, although Pascal Wehrlein almost ended up in the rear of Esteban Gutierrez's Haas after the Mexican suddenly slowed at Raidillon.

That resulted in some name calling on the radio, with the Manor driver calling him a "f****** idiot" as the stewards announced the incident would be investigated.
