Honda MotoGP rider Marc Marquez has been cleared to take part in qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix after a heavy fall in third practice.
The Spaniard lost control and crashed in the early stages of FP3, narrowly avoiding a collision with his team-mate Dani Pedrosa.
Marquez was seen nursing his left shoulder after the fall, which was dislocated. It popped back into place but after checks at the track he was to Leoben hospital for checks for further evaluation.
It has now been confirmed that Marquez has been cleared to take part in qualifying later today at the Red Bull Ring.
Marquez later sent an update to his fans on Twitter, saying: "It has only been a fright! All is OK."
He is currently leading the championship by 48 points after nine rounds of the 2016 MotoGP season, as he hunts for his third title.
Ducati's Andrea Iannone finished ahead of his team-mate Andrea Dovizioso in the third practice session on Saturday morning.
