Renault e.Dams Formula E driver Nicolas Prost will start the first race of the London ePrix weekend from pole position after a rain-hit and disrupted session.

The first group lapped the circuit in dry conditions but a short but heavy rain shower arrived late in the second session. The track continued to dry throughout the third and fourth groups, before the Super Pole shoot-out.

Prost was the last driver to run and put in a 1m27.192 to take his third Formula E pole position, with Mahindra’s Bruno Senna in second place.

The wet weather mixed up the grid, with Oliver Turvey in third place for NEXTEV and Robin Frijns fourth for Andretti. Jean-Eric Vergne made it through to the Super Pole session but he failed to take part after crashing in his group.
