The iconic 24-hour showdown at Circuit Paul Ricard will crown the 2026 Endurance World Champions this weekend as six teams remain in mathematical contention for the Bol d’Or.
A stacked field of 56 entries will take to the start line at Le Castellet from September 17 to 20 for the 89th running of the Bol d’Or, serving as the decisive final round of the FIM Endurance World Championship.
Three frontrunners take center stage at the Bol d’Or
While six teams hold a mathematical chance at the championship, all eyes are on three primary contenders heading into the 24-hour marathon. Points leaders #1 YART Yamaha aim to lock in back-to-back crowns. #37 BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team is out for redemption after a late-race heartbreak denied them the title last season. Meanwhile, #12 Yoshimura SERT Motul comes in hungry to reclaim the top spot after missing the championship by a single point in the previous campaign.
Grid breakdown for the Bol d’Or
The 56-bike lineup spans four distinct competition classes. The premier EWC category features 17 entries across Yamaha (6), BMW (4), Kawasaki (4), Honda (3), and Suzuki (1). The Superstock (SST) class forms the largest portion of the grid with 24 entries competing for Cup honours. Rounding out the field are 13 entries in Production (PRD) and 2 innovative prototype machines in Experimental (EXP).
