Marc Marquez led every single lap as he secured a dominant victory in his home MotoGP sprint race in Aragon.
Marquez made an audacious move at the first corner on polesitter Marco Bezzecchi and went on to lead every lap en route to his victory.
Bezzecchi had initially made the best start from pole position, but a divebomb from Marquez ensured the Ducati rider had the lead into Turn 1.
Bezzecchi was forced a little wide from the manoeuvre, which allowed Alex Marquez to move into second place ahead of the Italian to make it a Marquez brothers 1-2.
Meanwhile, championship leader Jorge Martin had to fight Raul Fernandez for fourth position, but as both riders jostled, Pedro Acosta took advantage and passed both riders on the first lap.
After some aggressive moves from both riders, Martin eventually used the power of the home straight on Lap 2 to get in front of Fernandez and into fifth.
Acosta set the fastest lap to build a gap to Martin, but made an error in the second sector to allow the championship leader to close in, and eventually pass, the KTM rider on the third lap.
Two laps later, Martin made an error of his own by running wide at Turn 10 to allow Acosta back through into fourth.
The order at the front remained the same for the rest of the race, with Marc Marquez eventually crossing the line to take victory by 1.140s.
Alex Marquez stayed unchallenged in second place, with Bezzecchi completing the podium in third.
Acosta had strong race pace, but his mistakes and battle with Martin limited him to fourth, as the championship leader rounded out the top five.
Fermin Aldeguer was a distant sixth after prevailing in a final lap battle with seventh-placed Diogo Moreira, while Raul Fernandez was close behind in eighth.
Johann Zarco scored the final point in his first race back from injury, finishing just over a tenth in front of 10th-placed Jack Miller.
Francesco Bagnaia struggled throughout the sprint to narrowly take 11th over Alex Rins, as Toprak Razgatlioglu overtook two riders on the penultimate lap to finish 13th.
Enea Bastianini took the chequered flag in 14th with Brad Binder 15th, as Joan Mir finished a distant 16th.
Pol Espargaro ended the sprint in 17th ahead of Franco Morbidelli in 18th, with Lorenzo Savadori completing the finishers in 19th.
Fabio Quartararo suffered an engine blow up and failed to finish the race, while Luca Marini suffered a crash on Lap 1 and Fabio Di Giannantonio also crashed out of contention.
